nladmin − SunNet License Administration Tool

SYNOPSIS

nladmin [ generic-tool-arguments ]

DESCRIPTION

nladmin, the SunNet License Administration Tool, is a SunView based application which is used for the administration of SunNet License databases.  nladmin is used by an license administrator to add/delete/modify licenses on a SunNet License server. 

nladmin is run by the license administrator on their system and communicates to the SunNet License service on the server in question, via RPC.  While the license administrator cannot access multiple servers at the same time, they can access them all from the same tool. 

The license administrator specifies which SunNet License server to connect to and once connected can add new licenses, modify or delete existing licenses, add or delete administrator, maintain license groups, assign units to specific licenses and generate reports. 

OPTIONS

generic-tool-arguments nladmin accepts the generic tool arguments described in sunview(1).

NL_ADMIN_LANG full path for the language file (including the file name)

NL_ADMIN_FONT full path for the parent directory for the Openlook SunNet License fonts

DIAGNOSTICS

Errors are logged to the message line of the tool with the exception of errors detected before the windows are visible.  These errors are sent to stderr instead.
