NAME

metascript − install or deinstall DiskSuite changes to kernel files

SYNOPSIS

/usr/etc/metascript [ −d ]

AVAILABILITY

This program is available with the Sun Online: DiskSuite software package.

DESCRIPTION

metascript, installs and deinstalls changes to kernel files.

The kernel files that are changed include:

/usr/kvm/sys/sun/swapgeneric.c,
/usr/kvm/sys/sun/conf.c,
/usr/kvm/sys/sun/stubs.c

Also, either:
/usr/kvm/sys/sun4/conf/files,
/usr/kvm/sys/sun4c/conf/files,
or
/usr/kvm/sys/sun4m/conf/files
and either:
/usr/kvm/sys/sun4/conf/makefile.src,
/usr/kvm/sys/sun4c/conf/makefile.src,
or
/usr/kvm/sys/sun4m/conf/makefile.src
are changed, depending on the architecture of your machine.

metascript also creates or deletes the metadevice entries in /dev.

OPTIONS

−d Deinstall DiskSuite modifications to kernel files.
