This program is available with the Sun Online: DiskSuite software package. 

DESCRIPTION

metaconvert reads the SPARCserver Manager (SSM) metadevice state file (/etc/.<meta>) and issues commands that initializes the same metadevice configuration for DiskSuite.  When invoked, the standard output of metaconvert must be redirected to a file.  This file contains shell commands that must be invoked as part of DiskSuite installation. 

metaconvert should only be used during installation of DiskSuite on SSM machines.
