redir, extend − file redirector

SYNOPSIS

redir
extend [ drive: ] [ drive:<path> ] [ drive:=<path> ] [ drive:\ ] [ drive:- ] [ -r ] [ +r ] [ help ] [ ?  ]

AVAILABILITY

DOS Windows for Sun-3 and Sun-4 workstations. 

DESCRIPTION

redir and extend mount and unmount SunOS file systems and make them available to DOS Windows. 

redir is a TSR that must be loaded before extend. 

extend is the facility that actually mounts SunOS file systems and makes them available to DOS Windows. 

OPTIONS

Without any options, extend indicates the status of redirected drives.  The following options apply to extend:

drive: make drive drive: a SunOS drive

drive:<path> make drive drive: a SunOS drive and make path-prefix for d: <path>

drive:=<path> make drive drive: a SunOS drive, rooted at "/", with a current directory of <path>

drive:\ eliminate path prefix for drive drive:

d:- restore drive drive: as a normal drive

-r suspend the file redirector

+r restart the file redirector

help print a help message

?  print a help message
