FDGTINFO(1) — Pixar Programmer’s Manual
NAME
fdgtinfo− type out fast-disk picture file information
SYNOPSIS
fdgtinfo file
DESCRIPTION
fdgtinfo gives details of a Fast-Disk “tile-based” picture file. Running the command fdgtinfo 1984 will produce a display similar to the following:
1984:
[no label]
picture size:1024768
tile size:1024768
picture offset:00
1 tile in 8192 byte blocks.
8 dumped bits per channel:RGBAmatted to black
Tile status:tile 0complete
The PIXPATH variable of the environment is used to find the picture. The picture header is read to determine the picture size, tile size, and component information.
All Fast-Disk pathnames not beginning with a slash (/) are interpreted to be relative to the current Fast-Disk working directory specified by the FDCWD environment variable (see fdcwd(7)).
