osinitfs − initialize an ObjectStore file system

SYNOPSIS

osinitfs

DESCRIPTION

osinitfs initializes an ObjectStore file system. Execution of this is required prior to starting an ObjectStore Server for the first time on a given ObjectStore file system. 

osinitfs aborts if a Directory Manager or Server is active. To run it on a local machine, specify a local Directory Manager to be contacted instead of a site-wide one by setting OS_DIRMAN_HOST.
