oscdb − create an entry in the directory database

SYNOPSIS

oscdb pathname hostname uid0 uid1 uid2

DESCRIPTION

This utility operates on Directory Manager databases only. 

oscdb creates an entry in the directory database. If there is a database in the Server that is not referenced anywhere in the directory database (see osrverf(1)), the oscdb command may be used to create an entry in the directory database which references the appropriate Server entry.  uid0, uid1, and uid2 are the three parts of the database uid, as obtained by osls -u (see osls(1)).
