NAME

inst_dl - installs DataLens drivers for Lotus 1-2-3. 

SYNOPSIS

inst_dl base_directory

DESCRIPTION

Lotus 1-2-3 uses DataLens drivers to exchange data between spreadsheet sessions and database files stored on disk. For any type of database file, you need to install a DataLens driver designed specifically for that database management software.  The inst_dl utility is an adjunct to the installation scripts or instructions that are distributed with the DataLens driver that you have purchased. For specific instructions on how to install your DataLens driver with inst_dl, consult the documentation that accompanies the driver.

USAGE

inst_dl is located in the /lotus/123.v10/‘arch‘/bin directory and expects the 1-2-3 driver files ∗.o (installed optionally) to be in the directory /lotus/123.v10/‘arch‘/lib.
