NAME
userdict: a command used to set up a user-defined dictionary
for the Spell checker application in ADEPT Editor or ADEPT Publisher.
SYNOPSIS
userdict [-v] {-add | -delete | -list} -dict dictionary-name {-f wordlist | word1, word2, }
DESCRIPTION
userdict is the command used at a UNIX prompt to set up a user-defined dictionary for the Spell checker application used with the ADEPT Editor or ADEPT Publisher. The Auxiliary Tag Data (ATD) Editor in Document Architect must hookup access to a user-defined dictionary by adding UserDictionary: dictionary-name to the document type’s ATD file.
OPTIONS
−vis verbose.
−add
adds words to specified user-defined dictionary.
−delete
removes words from specified dictionary.
−listlists the words in specified dictionary.
−dictspecifies dictionary-name for your file.
−fis the file containing either wordlist, which the name of a file containing an ASCII list of words or misspelling word pairs, or word1, word2, which are either words or misspelling word pairs. Use a semi-colon (;) to separate the misspelled word and the correction in a misspelling word pair. For instance: tthe;the
wordlist
the name of a file containing an ASCII list of words.

are either words or misspelling word pairs.
EXAMPLES
For example, to add the word pair, tthe;the, to your user-defined dictionary, "dict2," type:
userdict -add -dict dict2 tthe;the
