NAME
keyboard − system console keyboard

DESCRIPTION
keyboard is a component of the kd driver, which is comprised of the display and keyboard drivers.
The Solaris for x86 keyboard may be either an 84- or a 101-key standard PC keyboard. When the system is booting, keyboard services are provided by the keyboard section of the kd driver.
Developers are not encouraged to write programs that communicate directly with the keyboard; they should make use of the environment provided by the windows server.
