ngettext − TNT access to gettext(3)
SYNOPSIS
ngettext [ -display display ]
DESCRIPTION
ngettext is a daemon to provide TNT applications access to the system message translation facility (gettext(3)) from the server-side NeWS code.
BUGS
There is a noticable communications overhead when accessing this facility. If the string originates on the client side, it is better to translate it directly before sending it to the server. The cps(1) ‘-lon’ option facilitates this when the string is embedded in NeWS code.
