NAME

rubbertext − rubbertext demo

SYNOPSIS

/usr/openwin/demo/rubbertext

DESCRIPTION

rubbertext is a NeWS/TNT demo application that displays a canvas with a string centered in it.  Along the bottom and right side of the canvas are sliders that control the horizontal and vertical scale of the string.  In the lower right corner is a rotatable knob that controls the angle of the string.

This demo is a good illustration of NeWS’ capability to display characters in an arbitrary size and orientation.  In addition, the rotatable knob is an example of the simplicity of subclassing TNT components to create entirely new user interface objects.
