DESCRIPTION

The following macros are provided for use with the TextBuffer Utilities

  Table 1 Text Buffer Macros Macro and Return
 
TextBufferUserData(text,line)
   used to access the per-line user data TextBufferName(text)
   returns the filename associated with text TextBufferModified(text)
   returns a flag indicating whether
   text has been modified since last saved TextBufferEmpty(text)
   returns a flag indicating whether text is empty TextBufferNamed(text)
   returns a flag indicating whether text is associated with a filename LinesInTextBuffer(text)
   returns the number of lines in text LastTextBufferLine(text)
   returns the line number of the last line in text LastCharacterInTextBufferLine(text, line)
   returns the offset of the last
   character in text on line LengthOfTextBufferLine(text, line)
   returns the length of line in text SameTextLocation(x,y)
   returns a flag indicating whether locations x and y are the same
