NAME
en − Sun 3 Mb/s experimental Ethernet interface
SYNOPSIS
device en0 at mb0 csr 0x100 priority 3
DESCRIPTION
The en interface provides access to a 3 Mb/s Ethernet network. The host’s address is discovered at boot time by probing the Ethernet address register. For a general description of network interfaces, see if(4N).
The board consumes 256 bytes of Multibus I/O space starting at standard address 0x100.
The interface handles both Internet and PUP protocol families, with the interface address maintained in Internet format. PUP addresses are converted to Internet addresses by subsituting PUP network and host values for Internet network and imp values, and setting the Internet host number to zero.
