ee − Intel EtherExpress 16 and 16TP Ethernet driver boards

DESCRIPTION

The EtherExpress 16 and 16TP driver boards provide Ethernet network connectivity to personal computers with an Industry-Standard Architecture (ISA) bus. Both boards operate in 8- or 16-bit mode. The EtherExpress 16 board works with thick or thin Ethernet cable. The EtherExpress 16TP board works with thick Ethernet cable or twisted-pair cable complying with the 10BASE-T specification. The EtherExpress driver boards provide STREAMS access and an LLI-compliant interface that is compatible with INTERACTIVE TCP/IP software. 

CONFIGURATION

EtherExpress boards are switchless and jumperless. To configure the boards, you need the configuration software provided by Intel Corporation. The configuration runs in interactive mode to allow you to configure the boards. For more details, refer to the guide provided by Intel to install and configure the two boards.
