NAME
     panelnew:  newpanel, delpanel - create and destroy panels

SYNOPSIS
     #include <panel.h>

     PANEL *newpanel(WINDOW *win);
     int delpanel(PANEL *panel);

DESCRIPTION
     newpanel creates  a  new  panel  associated  with  win  and
     returns  the  panel pointer.  The new panel is placed on top
     of the panel deck.

     delpanel destroys panel, but not its associated window.

RETURN VALUE
     newpanel returns NULL if an error occurs.

     delwin returns OK if successful, ERR otherwise.

NOTES
     The header file <panel.h> automatically includes the  header
     file <curses.h>.
