NAME

faxstop − Finishes FAX daemon. 

SYNOPSIS

faxstop [ −host host-name ]

DESCRIPTION

faxstop finishes FAX daemon. 
If telephone line is connected for send or receive, it is forced to be disconnected.
Only privileged user (user level 0) can execute.

The following options are recognized. 

−ho[st] host-name
Specifies host name of the machine connected to FAX board.
If not specified, default machine that is registered in the top of FAX host machine registration file is used.

NOTES

If FAX daemon has already started send-receive processes, these processes are also terminated.  But, it may take one minute or so to terminate.
