NAME

faxdsetup − Initialized environment for FAX daemon. 

SYNOPSIS

faxdsetup

DESCRIPTION

faxdsetup is the command to set-up directories and files that are neeeded for FAX daemon. 
Referring to the FAX information file /var/sony/etc/faxdinfo, the following directories and management files are made:

Common

Request directory

Request management file (1 is set.) 
Request queue file (content is empty.)
Time specified request queue file (content is empty.)

Lock file directory

Respective line exclusive

Receive directory

Receive management file (1 is set.) 

Communication log directory

Communication log management file (1 is set.) 

Polling send directory

FILES

/var/sony/etc/faxdinfoFAX information file

DIAGNOSIS

If successful, exit status is 0. 
Otherwise, error message is written to stderr.

NOTES

faxdsetup command should be executed with the same user who starts up FAX daemon. 

Privileged user registration file and FAX client machine registration file cannot be made automatically, and should be made separately.
