NAME

powerd.conf − powerd configuration file

DESCRIPTION

By /etc/powerd.conf , it can be changed powerd some actions.  powerd.conf is one of following three forms description file. 

event securelevel time command
timevars -1 time
varname securelevel

In first form, it is discribed event, highest secure level which permits powerd(8) action such as shutdown system , powerd wait time (seconds) for the action, option full path command which is always execute the event is occored.  If no time and no command,time is 0 second and it is execute no command.  If command is presented, the command always is executed all secure level.  If you want to check secure level in the command, use securelevel(8) command in the command.  In executing the command, standard in/out is closed. So if you want to output, you should output specifically. It is not assumed environment variables.  If you disable the powerd(8) action of the event in spite of the secure level, you specify secure level -1. 
the events is follow;

shutdown1
SHUTDOWN/POWER switch is pressed in 2 seconds and leaved. system shut down.

shutdown2
SHUTDOWN/POWER switch is pressed in 5 seconds. system shut down.

hightemp
Internal high temperature is detected. send out warn. not disable.

longhightemp
Too loong internal high temperature is detected. sustem shut down. not disable.

In the second form, it is described about the time of the events of powerd(8)
the desctiption is follow;

acfailtime
System shutdown times(seconds) after AC fail is detected and not recoverd.

In the third form, it is discribed other variables of powerd(8). 
the desctiption is follow;

kbd_shutdown
Highest secure level to active NWP-5461 power switch. Default is follow;

This file is only supported in NWS-3100 series and NWS-5000 series.
