ibs_getioerror − returns I/O function errors generated by the bitonal image library

SYNOPSIS

ibs_getioerror(work)

DESCRIPTION

ibs_getioerror returns without modification the most recent error value returned by inf or outf , which are used by functions such as ibs_compress(3X), ibs_expand(3X) and ibs_zoom(3X).  The value of this function is set when an error is generated, and it is not cleared even if a function is called successfully.
