NAME
atstatus − obtains PAP server status
SYNOPSIS
atstatus [object[:type[@zone]]]
DESCRIPTION
atstatus communicates with PAP servers on an AppleTalk network using the AppleTalk PAP (Printer Access Protocol) and displays the server status.
Examples of PAP servers include printer devices such as LaserWriters and print spoolers.
Servers can be specified from the command line using server names obtained using atlookup or a similar tool. If the type name (type) is omitted, the type is assumed to be LaserWriter. If the character “∗” is specified as the zone, atstatus assumes the current zone. In addition, server name is specified by the envirnment variable ATPRINTER. % atprint ’my_printer:LaserWriter’ The above example will obtain the status of “my_printer:LaserWriter”.
