DESCRIPTION

Sbed is the daemon for sbe, the NEWS expansion audio interface.  Through /dev/sbec0, sbed sends the programs which are needed for sbe to record or playback PCM data.  An open(2) system call to sbe returns the error ENXIO if sbed is not running.
