IBLOAD(8)  —  NEWS-OS Programmer’s Manual

NAME

ibload − initialize image board

SYNOPSIS

/usr/sony/etc/ibload

DESCRIPTION

ibload initializes the image board (NWP-242/243).

ibload command performs a hardware reset for the image board, and downloads the program /usr/sony/etc/ib.prog.
Then this command initialize the laser beam printer and the image reader if they are connected.
Finally, ibload prints the version of ib.prog to stdout.
