NAME
xvmap − Control utility for VideoMap Display on X Window
SYNOPSIS
xvmap [−display display]
DESCRIPTION
xvmap is a utility software to display realtime video in an X Window by controlling NWB-254 VideoMap Display Board. The video window can be frozen and read to get a still image digital data to be stored in the disks or to be printed, etc. All the operations are done interactively using mouse.
OPTIONS
−display display
specifies the name of X server. (see X(1)) Remote displays cannot be used.
OPERATION
Pointer Manipulation All the operations are done by the left button of mouse.
Pulldown menu:
File menu
has menus of Print, Save and Quit.
Buttons:
Play starts to convert the input video signal into digital data and to display in the active video window.
Freeze stops coversion the video signal into digital data and the motion of video window is frozen. It is released by clicking the play button.
Select buttons
select the active video window which is controlled by the buttons. The selected video window comes to the top of the windows and starts to display the video.
Lever:
Frame rate lever
selects the frame number displayed in one second. The default value is 30 frames per second and the lever is set at the left end. The frame rate is selected among 30, 15, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 0.

BUG
Freeze button and select button cannot be used unless the entire active video window is displayed. Inactive video windows cannot be resized.
