NAME
telcall − make telephone call via ISDN
SYNOPSIS
telcall [−t timeout] isdn_no [subaddr]
DESCRIPTION
telcall places a voice (telephone) call via ISDN. If the call does not complete (reaches Connected or Failure states) within timeout seconds, the call is cleared. Default value is 120 seconds. If timeout is set to 0, the command returns immediately.

DIAGNOSTICS
Exit status is 0 if Connected and 1 otherwise.
BUGS
Calls to toll-free telephone numbers in some countries stay in the Alerting state without ever reaching Connected state. To avoid undue timeouts, timeout should be set to 0.
