NAME
sxadmin − NEWS Desk desktop tool, system management tool
SYNOPSIS
sxadmin [−option ...]
DESCRIPTION
The sxadmin program is a system management tool that runs on X.
For detailed usage instructions, refer to Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 of the NEWS Desk User’s Guide in the NEWS-OS manual set.
The tool comprises an X11 based command (sxmenu) which is independent of it, its resource file (SXmenu) and special files prepared for use by the tool.
These files are normally put in the locations listed under FILES below.
OPTIONS
The sxadmin program takes the following options.
−geometry geometry
Specifies the initial window geometry. Size cannot be specified.
−adminPath path
This option is used if the files which are normally located under /usr/lib/X11/sx/sxadmin have been put in a different place. The pathname of the location of the files is specified as path.
−sxmenuPath path
This option is used together with −adminPath in cases where files which are normally located under /usr/lib/X11/sx/sxadmin have been put somewhere else. For path, (path specified by −adminPath)/menu.ascii/main should be specified.
RESOURCES
In the resource file (SXmenu), only resources common to commands used by sxmenu are specified. (Others are in sxfloppy(1)).
MULTI LANGUAGE SUPPORT
Japanese (Shift-JIS/EUC), Korean (EUC) and English (ISO 8859-1) are supported.
