cdvd − shows CD-ROM volume descriptor information

SYNOPSIS

cdvd [ −a ] [ −dev device_name ]

DESCRIPTION

cdvd shows the volume descriptor information of CD-ROM standard file format discs.

The Copyright File Identifier, Abstract File Identifier and Bibliographic File Identifier represent the files, respectively, containing the copyright, abstract and bibliography contained in the root directory of the CD-ROM disc.

OPTIONS

−a Gives detailed volume descriptor information.

−dev device_name
Specifies the device file of the CD-ROM drive to be used. The default is /dev/rsd06c.
