XFree, XNoOp − free client data

SYNTAX

XFree(data)
     char ∗data; XNoOp(display)
      Display ∗display;

ARGUMENTS

displaySpecifies the connection to the X server. 

dataSpecifies a pointer to the data that is to be freed. 

DESCRIPTION

The XFree function is a general-purpose Xlib routine that frees the specified data. You must use it to free any objects that were allocated by Xlib. The XNoOp function sends a NoOperation protocol request to the X server, thereby exercising the connection.
