NAME
svstat − show statistics for the sv SCSI VMEbus host adaptor
SYNOPSIS
svstat [ −z n ] [ system ] [ core ]
svstat −l n firmware_file [raw_disk_device]
DESCRIPTION
svstat displays the contents of various status, error and statistics data structures for the sv SCSI VMEbus host adaptor.
The default value for the system argument is /vmunix; for core, the default is /dev/kmem.
OPTIONS
−z Clear counters. The values are displayed prior to being cleared.
−l Download specified firmware_file to the controller, reprogram the controller’s FLASH ROMs, and restart the controller. If a raw_disk_device is not specified, a disk must be present on the controller that can be opened as /dev/rsdn0c. If a raw_disk_device is specified then it is used instead. If the firmware download process is interrupted by a power failure, contents of the FLASH will be corrupt and the board will not function.
−n Display (clear) the state of host adaptor sv n. The default interface is sv0.
DISPLAY
The display contains information pertaining to the efficiency of the driver. This includes information about the number of commands per workq (SCSI target) and a histogram of the number of commands completed per interrupt from the board.
