NAME

dkstop − spin down a disk

SYNOPSIS

/usr/etc/dkstop disk

DESCRIPTION

dkstop causes the named disk to spin down.  This command is useful for unplugging disk drives from the machine without powering down.  If the drive is not unplugged, the next access will cause it to spin back up. 

BUGS

Currently dkstop only works with sd(4s) devices (SCSI drives).
