KBDABORT(1)  —  USER COMMANDS

NAME

kbdabort − enable or disable the keyboard system abort

SYNOPSIS

kbdabort [ −y ] [ −n ] [ −d keyboard-device ]

DESCRIPTION

Enable or disable the setting of the keyboard system abort.  The default is no keyboard system abort.  If no argument is specified then the current keyboard abort mode is returned.  If you want to turn keyboard system abort on then a good place to do it is in /etc/rc.local. 

OPTIONS

−y Yes, enable keyboard system abort. 

−n No, disable keyboard system abort. 

−d keyboard-device
Specify the keyboard device being set.  The default is /dev/kbd.

DIAGNOSTICS

A short help message is printed if an unknown flag is specified or if the −d switch is used and the keyboard device name is not supplied.  A diagnostic is printed if the keyboard device name can’t be opened or is not a keyboard type device.
