NAME

lfb [-x xoffset ] [-y yoffset ] [-c ] [-w] file(s) − load frame buffer for Iris

DESCRIPTION

The program displays run-length encoded pix files on the Iris console.  The files may contain 8 or 24 bits per pixel.  The program will load the first file specified, and unless the -w option is specified, wait for a console  keystroke before going on to the next file.  The -c option will centre files smaller than the screen dimensions, while the -x & -y offset arguments allow you to place the file anywhere on the screen.  You may also view large ( > 1K ) files a piece at at time with positive x and y offsets. 

COMMENTS

Type lfb -i to get the version number.  Old (unnumbered) versions will not be supported after this release.
