NAME

oldpaint2new infile outfile − changes the yoffset in old paint files so they will be read in correctly

DESCRIPTION

For technical reasons, the paint module now calculates the  offsets in pix files relative to the top of the menu bar, rather than the lower left corner of the screen. If you wish to load in files which you have saved from an earlier version, you must run this program on the files, which adds 40 to the y offset, ensuring that it will load into the new paint module in the same position as when you saved it. 

USAGE

oldpaint2new infile outfile.  You must be in the directory where the pix files reside.  This will ensure that the pix files are displayed properly in the Iris frame buffer.
