NAME

matteRGB − converts 8-bit matte files to 24-bit run-length files

DESCRIPTION

This program will convert matte files ( 8 bits per pixel ) to 24 bit monochrome RGB pix files for certain devices ( eg. Quantel Harry ) which only have one format for both colour and matte files. 

USAGE

matteRGB infile outfile

COMMENTS

Type matteRGB -i to get the version number.  Old (unnumbered) versions will not be supported after this release.
