NAME
     PppManager - PPP Manager

SYNOPSIS
     /usr/sysadm/bin/runcatalog /usr/sysadm/catalogdf/SaPppCatalog.cdf

DESCRIPTION
Managers display information about your system and provide access to
interactive guides (also called tasks) that let you administer your
system. For example, the User Manager displays a list of the user
accounts currently on the system and gives you access to guides like "Add
a User Account" and "Modify a User Account".

In the Manager window, you can open a guide by choosing its name from the
Task menu or by clicking its button at the bottom of the window.

The PPP manager displays a list of incoming and outgoing PPP entry that
is created on your system. You can create a PPP entry to be used either
over an ISDN or modem line. Please refer to ppp(1M) for more information
     on PPP.

GUIDES
Guides, also called "tasks," are interactive windows that lead users
through the steps necessary to perform various system administration
tasks, such as adding new user accounts and configuring networking on the
     system.

A guide typically consists of a series of pages that prompt users to
enter information or select options. A user navigates through guide pages
using the Prev and Next buttons (or corresponding arrow keys). When the
user reaches the last page of a guide and clicks the OK button, the
system executes one or more commands to perform the system administration
task. These commands are located in /usr/sysadm/privcmd. See
     addpppin(1M), addpppout(1M), execppp(1M), getallpppinisdn(1M),
     getallpppinmodem(1M), getallpppoutisdn(1M), getallpppoutmodem(1M),
     getpppin(1M), getpppout(1M), pppoutexists(1M), removepppin(1M),
removepppout(1M), and stopppp(1M) for more information.

Many of the guides require that a user either know the root password or
be assigned the necessary privileges (using the PrivilegeManager(1M)) in
     order to perform the task.

     Add an Outgoing PPP Connection
This task lets you create an Outgoing Connection, which allows
your system to connect to a remote location using PPP over ISDN
or modem. The privileges needed for this task are: Add
Outgoing PPP(addpppout(1M)) and Test PPP Outgoing
               Existence(pppoutexists(1M)).

     Modify an Outgoing PPP Connection
This task lets you change the settings for an existing Outgoing
PPP Connection. The privileges needed for this task are: Add

     Add an Incoming PPP Connection
This task lets you create an Incoming Connection, which allows
