     NAME
          wait4wm - waits for the window manager

     SYNOPSIS
          wait4wm

     DESCRIPTION
          wait4wm ensures that the window manager has been started
          before allowing other clients to open windows. This is
          appropriate at the beginning of a login session so that the
          window manager is able to control window placement.

     DIAGNOSTICS
          wait4wm returns 0 on success and -1 if there is trouble
          connecting to the server.
