SCHEMEBR(1) SCHEMEBR(1)

NAME
schemebr - customization panel for specifying color schemes

SYNOPSIS
     /usr/sbin/schemebr

DESCRIPTION
The schemebr panel allows the user to select a new color scheme in which
subsequently launched window applications will appear. It also lets
     users create new color schemes.

The panel can be launched from a Unix shell command line, or from the
toolchest (Desktop > Customize > Color Schemes). Like most other
customization panels, the schemebr panel has the ``runonce'' feature,
meaning only one instance of the application will run at one time.
Attempting to launch the application a second time will have the effect
of deiconifying the application window or popping it to the top on the
     current desk.

A color scheme consists of a set of colors that are used consistently in
windows. Each color is assigned to one or more window parts, such as
pushbuttons, pull-down menus, scrollbars and scroll troughs. IRIX 5.3
supplies 18 schemes, each named after a place (ex., Rio, Milan). The
IRIX Interactive Desktop tools respond to all scheme selections.

For more information, see the IRIX Interactive Desktop Release Notes
appendix on sounds and color schemes.

For more information about the entire IRIX Interactive Desktop
environment, see the IID(1) man page.
