NAME

randmap − randomize a section of the color map

SYNOPSIS

randmap seed p1 p2

DESCRIPTION

If there are less than eight bitplanes and no argument is given, randmap ramdomizes colors 16 to 31.  If there are more than eight bitplanes and no argument is given, it randomizes colors 128 to 255.  randmap can also be given a seed and a range of colors to randomize.  seed is an integer used to generate random colors.  p1 and p2 specify a range of color indexes to randomize.
