istat − provide information about an image file

SYNOPSIS

istat imagefile

DESCRIPTION

istat gives information about an imagefile, including the number of bytes per pixel in the image, the number of dimensions, the x, y, and z dimensions, the min and max pixel values, and the type of the image.  Example image files may be found in /usr/people/gifts/mextools/images.
