DESCRIPTION

These scripts are called by rc (see brc(1M)) to initialize the communication option used by the IRIS. IEEE 488 communications are initialized by rc.488, TCP/IP Ethernet communications are initialized by rc.tcp, and XNS Ethernet communications are initialized by rc.xns.
