BSTAT(1) — Silicon Graphics
NAME
bstat − board statistics
SYNOPSIS
bstat [ −r ] [ −v ]
DESCRIPTION
bstat gets statistics from the Excelan front-end processor boards. The statistics indicate the number of packets transmitted and received over the Ethernet network. Statistics are also compiled for error conditions resulting from the following:
•Packets received with an alignment error − the packets were not in 8-bit multiples
•Packets received with a CRC error
•Packets lost because no receive buffers were available
•Packets aborted because of heartbeat failure (from EXOS Series 200 boards only)
•Transmissions failed with DMA underrun (from EXOS Series 200 boards only)
bstat only prints statistics with nonzero values.
OPTIONS
−r resets the board statistics.
−v displays the software, firmware, and hardware revision levels.
