     rect(3G)                                                 rect(3G)

NAME
rect - outlines a rectangular region
SPECIFICATION
C rect(x1, y1, x2, y2)
Coord x1, y1, x2, y2;
recti(x1, y1, x2, y2)
Icoord x1, y1, x2, y2;
rects(x1,y1, x2, y2)
Scoord x1,y1, x2,y2;
FORTRAN subroutine rect(x1, y1, x2, y2)
real x1, y1, x2, y2
subroutine recti(x1, y1, x2, y2)
integer*4 x1, y1, x2, y2
subroutine rects(x1, y1, x2,y2)
integer*2 x1, y1, x2, y2
DESCRIPTION
rect draws a rectangle using the current linestyle,
linewidth, color, and writemask. The sides of the rectangle
are parallel to the x and y axes. Since a rectangle is a
2-D shape, rect takes only 2-D arguments, and sets the z
coordinate to zero. The points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) are
the opposite corners of the rectangle.
