cursoff - turns off the cursor

DESCRIPTION
cursoff turns off the cursor so that it is no longer
visible. It is listed primarily for compatibility with
earlier systems. The cursor is always displayed by default.
In the current system, the cursor cannot corrupt the screen
image.
