NAME
devnm - device name
SYNOPSIS
/etc/devnm [names]
DESCRIPTION
devnm identifies the special file associated with the
mounted file system where the argument name resides.
This command is most commonly used by /etc/brc (see brc(1M))
to construct a mount table entry for the root device.
EXAMPLE
The command:
/etc/devnm /usr
produces
/dev/dsk/ips0d0s2 usr
if /usr is mounted on /dev/dsk/ips0d0s2.
