 Description

    The stime system call sets the system's idea of the time and date.  tp
    points to the value of time as measured in seconds from 00:00:00 GMT
    January 1, 1970.


    [EPERM]   stime fails if the effective user ID of the calling process is
              not super-user.


 Diagnostics

    Upon successful completion, a value of 0 is returned.  Otherwise, a value
    of -1 is returned, and errno is set to indicate the error.

 Standards conformance

    stime is conformant with:
    AT&T SVID Issue 2; however, this routine has been withdrawn from XPG3.
