     Name
          systty - System maintenance device.

     Description
          The file /dev/systty is the device on which system error
          messages are displayed.  The actual physical device accessed
          via /dev/systty is selected during boot, and is typically
          the device used to control the bootup procedure.  The
          default physical device /dev/systty is determined by
          boot(HW) when the system is brought up.

          Initially /dev/console is linked to /dev/systty.
