     LPSCHED(ADM) XENIX System V LPSCHED(ADM)

     Name
lpsched, lpshut, lpmove - Starts/stops the lineprinter
          request scheduler and moves requests.

     Syntax
          /usr/lib/lpsched
          /usr/lib/lpshut
          /usr/lib/lpmove requests destination
          /usr/lib/lpmove dest1 dest2

     Description
lpsched schedules requests taken by lp(C) for printing on
          lineprinters.

lpshut shuts down the lineprinter scheduler. All printers
that are printing at the time lpshut is invoked will stop
printing. Requests that were printing at the time a printer
was shut down will be reprinted in their entirety after
lpsched is started again. All lineprinter commands perform
their functions even when lpsched is not running.

lpmove moves requests that were queued by lp(C) between
lineprinter destinations. This command may be used only
when lpsched is not running. The first form of the command
moves the named requests to the lineprinter destination.
Requests are request IDs as returned by lp(C). The second
form moves all requests for destination dest1 to destination
dest2. As a side effect, lp(C) will reject requests for
          dest1.

Note that lpmove never checks the acceptance status for the
new destination when moving requests (see accept(C)).
