     HDINSTALL(ADM) XENIX System V HDINSTALL(ADM)

     Name
hdinstall - places newly-created kernel in default location.

     Syntax
          hdinstall

     Description
When a new kernel is created with the Link Kit, hdinstall
must be invoked to place the new kernel in /xenix.
hdinstall moves the ``old'' /xenix to a file called
          /xenix.old and copies /usr/sys/conf/xenix to /xenix , the
          default location.

     Files
          /usr/sys/conf/xenix
          /xenix
          /xenix.old

     Notes
Any kernel patches applied using scopatch(ADM) are added to
          hdinstall (-386 only).
