Description
The hardware-dependent section (HW) contains information
useful in maintaining the system. Included are descriptions
of files, devices, tables and programs that are important in
maintaining the entire system that are directly related to
the kind of computer on which the system runs. This section
is intended for use with the 86 family of Intel CPUs,
specifically 8086, 8088, 80186, 80286 and 80386 based
computers.
