    net stop - stop the LAN Manager Client

 Syntax

    net stop  [client ]

 Description

    When you stop the client, all unused circuits are closed.  Users
    currently accessing a server are allowed to finish their sessions.  No
    new sessions are accepted until you start the client again.

    If you want to stop the client and abort all current sessions, use the
    net abort command.

    When no arguments are supplied, net stop stops all installed services.
